Stopped by because I heard good things about the place. Definitely did not expect such great service, food was great. We ordered a brisket pot pie and a chicken pot pie. Both excellent. Nick and Mike were great. Will definitely be back.
We decided to stop here while we were visiting yuma and I'm so glad we did. The por barbecue was amazing and I love the apple coleslaw. We also tried the twisted pickle and it was so flipping good! The staff were friendly and the owner even stopped to say hi! The decor was cute and I loved that the served the food on a backing sheet. We highly recommend.
I had a Brisket BBQ with Apple Slaw and Ranch Beans. It was EXCELLENT. Great service too.
Showed up this afternoon the place was packed, there was 5 of us and we all had different meals. But I went with the fried chicken special. I’m from the south and I know my fried chicken and I’d have to say that I was quite surprised that a little town out here in the desert could have such outstanding chicken just like my memaw used to make. A must try and will be back

Cluckin’ Hen House in Yuma is an absolute must-visit! This barbecue spot completely exceeded all my expectations. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting with cute decorations and a cozy, homey vibe that makes you want to stay and linger. The food is outstanding! The smoked meats are melt-in-your-mouth tender, the BBQ tacos are incredibly flavorful and unique, and the BBQ parfait is a fun, delicious twist I’ve never seen anywhere else. Every bite was packed with smoky, savory perfection. Super clean, friendly service, and just overall fantastic experience. This place is a winner! If you love great barbecue with a creative spin, you have to check out Cluckin’ Hen House. I’ll definitely be back soon!
Great caring people, fun atmosphere, very positive and energetic vibes. Food is outstanding, I have tried different burgers, all were amazing, the Cowboy Skillet Chef Special was so good, had to get an additional to take home. Johnny's special meat tacos , with brisket, pulled, pork and others was simply unique, and full of flavor. And the Texas Twankies, are also the best had to get some to go home as well. Very welcoming family owned veteran business. They make you feel part of the family from the start. Also great contributors to our community.
Loved stopping, it was a first visit to the Hen House ... what a wonderful place to share a meal with friends ... we'll be back (in 2027) ...
What a wonderful little place. The pot pies were the best we have ever had. Truly home cooked! The apple slaw and seasoned French fries were really good. Happy to find this little gem!
Couldn't be there for soft opening or grand opening. I am so excited to try this place. I love all home cooked and comfort food. This is the place. Real southern cookin'. Perfect portion and finger licking delicious!!!
